By making sample square swatches, we’ll use traditional ways and then break all the rules as we discover new tricks.

Learn to crochet seamlessly in the round, create straight edged rows and delve into mixing up hook sizes and yarn weights.

Skills needed: Can read a pattern or chart. Familiar with most crochet stitches and techniques.

What to bring:
• crochet hooks from 3 mm to 6 mm (and larger if using heavier weighted yarns)
• scissors & yarn needle
• crochet stitch markers
• tape measure
• notebook and pens, pencil and eraser or erasable pen
• highlighters
• sticky notes

What we'll provide:
• a variety of yarns in different plys and fibres

Participants receive: One on one tuition and handouts.
